Barrio Nuevo, in partnership with LACAP, are presenting a series of storytelling workshops for Latin American youth in Toronto.

We will be exploring our personal and collective identities through the process of digital storytelling.

Join us for a series of 3 free workshops, where we will work on different digital storytelling techniques and help you produce your own digital story.

These will be shown during Hispanic Heritage Month.

We are inviting youth to participate in this collective creation.

There are 3 workshops (various locations around the city):

March 26th: Who we are (creative exercises and questions of identity as latin@s in Toronto)

April 1st:   Who we are when we create (creating and collecting digital works -scanning photos, audio recording, video recording, other artistic expressions)

April 6th:   Who we are when we tell stories (learning to compile digital pieces and create digital stories with movie editing software)
